Business Development Executive

The Role
This is a consultative sales position focused on securing sponsorship and exhibition packages for our flagship events. You'll be identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that meet strategic goals.
You'll be engaging directly with senior stakeholders and industry experts, helping them elevate their presence and impact at our events.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and research new sectors and prospective clients
Build and manage your own sales pipeline and CRM
Generate leads and convert them via cold calling, email, and LinkedIn
Lead consultative sales calls with C-suite and senior decision-makers
Develop bespoke sponsorship proposals aligned with client objectives
Manage and grow existing accounts to secure long-term partnerships
Attend conferences to support client delivery and success
Collaborate with marketing to optimise lead generation and campaigns
What We're Looking For
Minimum 1 year of work experience (sales/commercial experience ideal but not required)
Confident communicator--persuasive over the phone, on email, and in meetings
Results-driven mindset with strong motivation to earn commission
Highly organised with great attention to detail and time management
Relationship-builder who enjoys engaging with people
Commercially curious and comfortable speaking to senior professionals
Proactive, entrepreneurial, and solutions-focused
