Job Description
R&M Electrical Group Ltd are an internationally renowned supplier of Electrical Containment, Pipe Supports and Prefabricated solutions to the Building Services Industry. We are looking to employ an Business Development Manager to join our busy office department in Aberdeen.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role involves strategic planning, market research, and collaboration with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs.
About the role
Main responsibilities to include (but not limited to):
Responsibilities:
To increase the turnover and profit of the branch primarily through the development of new business and developing some key existing accounts.
Market research, information gathering, cold calling potential new customers, calling on regular spending accounts, re-contacting and activating dormant accounts and engaging in all facets of marketing and promoting the business.
Investigating potentially untapped businesses within the branches and maintain both group and customer product and service awareness.
Other Duties:
Undertaking any other duties that are within the skill and capability of the individual as directed by the manager or other designated supervisors.
All tasks to be performed in compliance with the Groups Health & Safety and Quality Control systems.
Hours: Full-time, permanent position, Monday to Thursday 8.00 am - 5.00 pm and Friday 8.00 am - 4.00 pm.
