Noatum Logistics is looking for an Airfreight Business Development Manager, to drive sales of the business' airfreight product.
In your role as Airfreight Business Development Manager, you will be required to build and develop your own pipeline of business in co-ordination with the airfreight product to focus on winning new business for Noatum through a consultative, value driven sales approach.
We expect the successful candidate to constructively challenge our business to ensure our proposition and solutions are compelling to customers, whilst economically viable for Noatum Logistics and to also lead the expansion of services into new industry sectors and across geographies.
Responsibilities
Supporting the airfreight growth strategy for Noatum Logistics in line with the Air Product team
Updating & maintaining CRM ensuring pipeline information is updated & accurate
Responsible for new customer sales & onboarding with seamless business integration
Prospecting new customers through lead generation & follow up
Using marketing & business information to build long-term relationships with customers
Identify & upsell Noatum airfreight services as part of the sales approach to the existing customer base
Increase sales and profit through fostering and strengthening the relationship
Prepare and present analytical data, including monthly, annual reporting and future forecasting
Collaborate with other stakeholders to provide an exceptional service
Ownership of enquiries received through all communication channels
Delivering specialist support and sometimes complex scenarios
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by participating in local trade, professional and network associations as a representative of the company.

Leverage Noatum Logistics service network and capabilities to optimize customer wins
Act as a main point of contact for all allocated customer queries or complaints with a methodical approach and a right-first-time outcome

Arrange & Attend Customer Meetings & minute recording & action

The successful candidate must have:
Commercial/sales experience in Airfreight Business Development roles
Track record of network/pipeline building and positive communication
Experience in selling Air
Positive change agent in the business, commitment to constantly evolving service propositions, profitable growth, and cost reduction
Base location is not restricted to Birmingham. It can be located within approximately a 30 miles radius of Manchester, Birmingham or London.
