The Role - What You'll Do
As Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying and converting new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring Oracle is the partner of choice for asbestos-related services.
You'll bring not just asbestos knowledge, but also a commercial mindset and sales drive -- this role is not about stepping off site and avoiding delivery; it's about actively growing the business.
Key responsibilities include:
Building and developing strong client relationships at all levels, from site staff to Directors.
Identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and pricing asbestos projects from surveys, site visits, or floor plans.
Contributing to the growth strategy by leveraging your knowledge of the industry and customer needs.
Representing Oracle as a trusted partner who consistently delivers outstanding service.
Working collaboratively with internal teams and external contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
What We're Looking For
3+ years' experience in the asbestos industry
(preferred).
Proven
sales or business development experience
within asbestos, or demonstrable ability to translate technical knowledge into commercial success.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Inquisitive, commercially minded, and driven to exceed targets.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
Knowledge of recognised sales methodologies (e.g. SPIN, Action Selling) would be a plus.
