Job Role



Due to the recent growth and success of the business, Omega Environmental Services are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our expanding team in Wales office (Port Talbot). The candidate will be required to develop business for Wales region.

The successful candidate will be required to have a proven track record in business development, be able to prioritise and organise their workload efficiently and to work independently as well as part of a team. We are keen to maintain a strong relationship with our customers, so the successful candidate will need to be well presented, have excellent customer service and organisational skills.

Responsibilities



Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets.

Strategic sales plan and monitoring. Daily administrative tasks, including those at the discretion of the Directors. Regular face to face meetings with clients to develop relationship. Periodically entertaining clients via corporate events. Chasing and closing out quotations. Generating your own leads via cold calling, emailing, social media and tender portals. Following leads provided by Directors and Colleagues. Fortnightly reporting. Updating Excel spreadsheet regarding outcome of Business Development.

Requirements and expectations



Successful candidates must be confident and demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills both in person, by telephone and/or written communication. 3+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in the Asbestos industry, however not essential. Candidate will ideally be located up to 1 hour travelling distance to/from the office. Intermediate/advanced computer skills including use of all Microsoft applications.

Salary and Bonuses



We are offering a competitive salary 45,000 per annum that will correspond to your skills and experience.
