About Us

Ox Support Services is an ACS SIA Approved and CHAS-accredited national provider of manned guarding, mobile patrols, key holding, System Security,Physical security and other soft facility services i.e Site welfare units. With over two decades of industry experience, we deliver reliable, compliant, and customer-focused security solutions across the UK.

We're now seeking an ambitious and experienced Business Development Manager or a Director to join our growing team and play a key role in expanding our client base within the manned guarding and assciated sectors.

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and promoting our portfolio of professional security services nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a business growth strategy for manned guarding and associated services.

Identify and convert new commercial opportunities across retail, corporate, events and construction sectors.

Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.

Respond to tenders, prepare quotations, and deliver sales presentations.

Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery.

Achieve agreed sales and revenue targets.

Represent Ox Support Services at networking events, exhibitions, and client meetings.

Requirements

Proven experience in business development or sales within the private security industry or facilities management (minimum 2-3 years).

Strong understanding of manned guarding services, SIA regulations, and compliance standards.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.

Contract Term & Early Termination Clause

This position is offered as a 6-month fixed-term contract. Either party may terminate the contract early by giving one month's written notice. Ox Support Services also reserves the right to terminate employment immediately in cases of gross misconduct, serious breach of company policy, or proven non-performance following a formal review. This clause ensures compliance with UK employment law and provides flexibility while maintaining fairness to both parties.
