Martindales are a leading window and door, repair and replacement company servicing the insurance industry. MTF was set up in 2004 as a subsidiary to target the trade market and has already established a reputation as a supplier of the highest quality trade frames.



An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join an established national company in selling windows and doors we manufacture on site. Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building relationships with customers. the day to day running of the trade counter and dealing with customers and suppliers face to face or over the telephone.

Objectives of this role



To ensure that all customers are served in a prompt and efficient manner To assist in maintaining stock levels and good housekeeping on all displayed items To ensure an awareness at all times of Health & Safety regulations and procedures To keep up to-date and aware at all times in respect of all Company procedures relating to all transaction and pricing procedures Provide an after sales service to customers where necessary Improve and maintain good product knowledge of all products stocked and displayed Any other duties reasonably associated with this department A high level of self-motivation Ability to work alone, within a team and with supervision Ability to communicate at all levels professionally Smart Appearance Ability to work under pressure To have persistence to ensure set tasks/objectives are met Reliability, good time keeping and attendance

Required skills and qualifications



Build relationships and look after existing customer base. Check in deliveries and liaise with customers regarding collections. Liaise with sales manager and office regarding customer requirements. Maintain high level of housekeeping in branch. View to increase the role to incorporate sourcing/selling to new customers. Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills

Salary



30,000 - 50,000 After the first 3 months you will have the opportunity to stay on your basic salary with a higher percentage on sales or; alternatively have a slightly higher salary with 0% on sales. Vehicle Allowance - 4,800 P/A 0.25 per mile
