About Us
GasWise Plumbing & Heating Services (UK) Ltd is a trusted and growing provider of commercial and domestic plumbing, heating, and drainage services. We work with a wide variety of commercial clients including FM companies, managing agents, landlords, hotels, schools, care homes, and industrial facilities across Banbury and surrounding areas.
We are now looking for a
proactive, confident, and relationship-driven Business Development Manager
to help drive commercial growth and expand our client base.
The Role
As a
Part-Time Business Development Manager
, you will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and introducing new commercial clients to GasWise. This role combines office-based outreach with occasional field visits, ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships and generating new opportunities.
You will
not
be required to quote or manage service delivery. Your responsibility is purely focused on generating qualified commercial leads and introductions for our Managing Director and operations team.
There is also the option for the role to progress to a
permanent position
after the 6-month fixed-term period.

Key Responsibilities
?Identify and target new commercial prospects in and around Banbury
? Conduct outreach by phone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person visits
? Arrange introductions and handovers to the Managing Director
? Maintain accurate lead tracking and activity logs
? Attend office meetings and occasional introductory site visits
? Build strong, professional relationships with commercial decision-makers
? Represent GasWise with professionalism and integrity
Person Specification
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience in Business Development, Sales, or Client Acquisition
Ideally has experience within trades, FM, building services, or service industries (not essential)
Is confident, proactive, and self-motivated
Communicates clearly and builds rapport easily
Is organised and able to manage their own time
Is comfortable with both office and field-based engagement
Has a professional and customer-focused approach
Salary & Benefits
Base Salary (6-month contract): 10,000 - 13,500
(equivalent to 20,000 - 27,000 pro-rata per annum)
Strong Commission Package
This role includes an attractive, performance-based commission structure that rewards strong lead generation and successful commercial introductions.
