Job Purpose



Reporting to the Head of Sales, we are looking for high-performing Business Development Manager to join our growing and energetic team. With an emphasis on developing client relationships, growing brand/product awareness and progressing sales pipelines and building the sales team, this role is a key sales growth position. As our customer base expands and we deepen our strong presence in the EV charging market, we expect your role to develop and grow with us.

Key Expectations from the Role:



Exceed all monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and profit objectives as set by the Head of Sales or Managing Director.

Provide accurate and detailed sales forecasts on a weekly basis to the Head of Sales, with a clear focus and detailed analysis of all significant opportunities. Ensure sales forecasts consistently surpass targets and demonstrate growth over time.

Establish and maintain excellent relationships with key end-users, including economic buyers and core champions, from the outset in all significant opportunities.

Develop and execute clear plans to progress and close all significant opportunities, with accurate close dates.

Collaborate closely with the Head of Sales to achieve a high win rate in all qualified opportunities.

Responsibilities



Customer Relationship Management



Conduct regular on-site visits to nurture existing relationships and cultivate new prospects, ensuring regular internal communication to proactively identify customer pain-points.

Respond promptly to all customer enquiries via email or telephone, ensuring a high level of responsiveness and deliver proactive follow-up actions to address customer needs and concerns promptly detailing these in the CRM (HubSpot) on the day they take place.

Educate and inform customers about the range of products and services offered by the company.

Drive revenue growth through effective cross-selling and upselling strategies.

Uphold and exceed customer satisfaction standards to foster long-term loyalty.

Transactional Administration



Prepare accurate and consistent customer quotes to facilitate decision-making.

Be an exemplary user of the company's CRM system as the single source of truth for all sales deals and opportunities, ensuring it is fully updated daily by close of play.

Maintain a strong qualified pipeline in the CRM, with significant levels of qualified opportunities to ensure targets are exceeded consistently.

Demonstrate exceptional commitment to the company's brand values, ensuring all client interactions lead to exceptional customer satisfaction and high net promoter scores.

Develop and maintain effective and progressive revenue growth plans with all business partners within your region and major accounts.

Liaise with company departments to resolve order or invoice discrepancies.

Opportunity Development



Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them.

Present periodic sales reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.

Awareness of emerging markets, market shifts, new products, and competition status.

Utilise market research and industry insights to identify potential customers, market segments.

Requirements



3 + years in a business development or similar role, within the same industry is a bonus! Full, clean driving licence A genuine interest in the EV sector, our team are enthusiastic and advocates for our products and services Excellent customer facing skills
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 50,000.00-55,000.00 per year
