About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team.
In this key role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our franchisee retailers within a specific territory.
Key Responsibilities:
Development of the Retailers Business:
Identify and capitalise on growth opportunities within the assigned territory, building strong commercial relationships with our existing estate of independent retail owners, conduct regular store visits to provide guidance, support, and Identify areas for improvement.
Analyse sales data and identify trends to inform business strategies.
Identify gaps in the offering using our drop shipment and added value services to help grow the independent retail owners business
Ensure Compliance:
Monitor Contractual Spend and work with the franchisee to ensure contractual spend is met.
Monitor Promotional Compliance and work with the franchisee to ensure compliance is met.
Support and Encourage the franchisee in all aspects of running the store ensuring great store standards, whilst remaining Safe, Secure & Legal at all times
Build Strong Relationships:
Act as a trusted advisor to franchisees, providing support and guidance on all aspects of their business. Foster strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders within the retail network.
Represent the Company:
Professionally represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
Maintain a strong understanding of market trends and competitive landscape.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a field sales or business development role, ideally within the retail sector.
Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Highly organized and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Full UK Driving License (company car will be provided).
