The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) to help drive our continued growth. This is a key role for someone with strong commercial awareness, a proactive approach, and a proven ability to identify and convert opportunities into lasting business relationships.
You will be responsible for developing new business, strengthening existing client partnerships, and identifying new revenue streams in line with our company's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with our existing customer base and key partners.
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the plumbing, heating, and mechanical services sectors.
Proactively research market trends, tender opportunities, and potential clients.
Develop and deliver persuasive sales proposals and presentations.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project handovers and excellent customer service.
Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to the company's long-term growth strategy.
Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activity using company CRM systems.
Represent the company professionally at networking events, meetings, and industry functions.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar sales role.
Industry knowledge or experience within the plumbing, heating, or construction services sector is highly preferable.
Tenacious, self-motivated, and results driven.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
Confident and well-presented, with a professional approach to customer engagement.
IT literate, with experience using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital sales tools.
Full UK driving licence.
