Job Description
Venn Group has been approached by a private company who are looking for a Business & Development Manager on a Permanent basis. The Business Development will lead the marketing strategies, client relations and secure new opportunites. For this role, the sucessful candidate must be able to demonstrate previous experience and presence in the Utilities sector. This role requires travel and flexibility.Position: Business & Development ManagerLocation: Northern IrelandThe role will involve:
- Assist and develop business strategies
- Identify potential market growth opportunites
- Increase brand awareness
- Maintain and develop new client relations
- Bid formation and submissions
- Regular progress reports delivered to directors
- Experience working within utility / grid support sector
- Have a full clean UK driving licence
- Have a proven track record in winning contracts within the sector
- Contract procurement
- Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Experience working within the NERS / IDNO sector (ideal)
- Experience working within the ROI market (ideal)
- Knowledge of UK/ROI government / private investment strategies
