Are you passionate about driving innovation and building impactful partnerships? Aston University is seeking a dynamic

Business Development Manager

to join our Knowledge Exchange Team and play a pivotal role in advancing our sector-leading research and enterprise initiatives.


Working with the Senior Business Development Managers you will identify and develop collaborative opportunities with external partners, with a focus on digital technologies and enterprise AI. You'll support funding applications, facilitate knowledge exchange, and help translate cutting-edge research into real-world impact across our College of Engineering and Physical Sciences and Aston Business School.


We are looking for someone with:

A strong track record in supporting the development of collaborative research and knowledge exchange projects, including experience with KTPs, Innovate UK programmes, or contract research. The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders, including industry, public sector bodies, and funding organisations. Experience in gathering intelligence on funding opportunities, policy changes, and sector trends to inform academic engagement.
