We are seeking a target driven and expericened Business Development Manager to lead our client acquisition and account growth strategy within the construction and Labour supply sector.
You will be responsible for building long term client relationships, winning new business, maintaining existing client relationships and growing our presence with principal contractors, developers, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
Generate new leads, win Labour supply & subcontract contracts with tier 1 construction firms.
Maintain and expand existing client relationships across multiple projects.
Prepare & submit Labour supply quotes and pricing.
Identify and track upcoming projects using Glenigan, Barbour ABI, Planning portals, and other sources.
Attend site visits, pre-start meetings and networking events.
Work closely with our recruitment/resourcing team to ensure supply meets client demands.
Maintain accurate records in CRM or job management system.
Represent the company professionally at all times on and off site.
Requirements
2 + years of business development experience in construction, recruitment, Labour supply & subcontract works.
Strong knowledge of construction site processes, CSCS requirements, health & Safety.
Proven track record of generating leads and closing deals.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow up skills.
Comfortable working to targets, KPIs and managing a busy pipeline.
Full UK driving license and willingness to travel regionally
