Business Development Manager

to join our commercial team and play a pivotal role in our next phase of expansion.

Role Overview



As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive lead generation, consultative B2B sales, and long-term client relationship development. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will work in a collaborative and target-driven environment to build a strong pipeline, close high-value deals, and contribute to Huboo's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities



Lead Generation & Pipeline Development



Identify and qualify new business opportunities in target sectors and geographies. Proactively prospect via cold calling, networking, LinkedIn, and industry events. Maintain and manage a healthy sales pipeline aligned to monthly and quarterly revenue goals.

Sales Execution



Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from first contact through to contract negotiation and closure. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client needs. Use CRM tools effectively to track progress, forecast revenue, and optimise your sales process.

Client Relationship Management



Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers. Deliver consultative sales solutions, ensuring long-term client satisfaction and retention. Represent Huboo at trade shows, networking events, and industry forums.

Strategic Input & Collaboration



Monitor market activity, competitive positioning, and customer feedback to inform strategy. Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align efforts. Share insights and best practices to support continuous improvement across the sales organisation.

Candidate Profile



Experience



Proven success in a business development or B2B sales role, ideally within a tech, logistics, or fast-paced environment. Experience with managing a full sales cycle, including lead generation, pitching, and closing.

Skills



Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage senior-level stakeholders. Strong negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling skills. Proficient in using CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce) and sales reporting tools.

Attributes
