We are looking for a Business Development manager to strengthen our growing team in the Bristol/Bath area.

Duties



This is a field-based Account Manager role, within which you will be expected to look after existing and win new business within your defined geographical area. We are recruiting for a manager based in Bristol and Bath, and it will be expected you live in the area you will be working in, or easily commutable. For clarity, this means Bristol, Bath, South Gloucestershire or surrounding area.

You will achieve and exceed sales and cash margin targets and open profitable new accounts in-line with our sales strategy.

Maximise opportunities aligned with the sales strategy and set targets.

Identify category gaps, set objectives, and successfully secure new sales to existing customers to maximise average drop value.

You will be supported by your Telesales and Customer Service partner based in the Exeter office who will support you to achieve territory goals and drive sales.

Build great long-lasting relationships with our customers to ensure that we are seen as a credible, trusted supplier that operates with discipline and maximise growth opportunities.

Own the approach to finding new business, leading best in class sales pitches and negotiations to land and deliver value added listings.

Help lead the customer marketing approach to ensure we win at the first point of contact, and your accounts have everything they need to grow ahead of the market. Own reporting and forecasting to ensure our business has visibility of performance to date and year to go projections.
