Role Overview


This position serves as a pivotal role in sales and relationship management, working in close partnership with Admiral's panel of brokers by delivering regular support and ongoing training across their operations. The appointed individual will primarily dedicate their time to onsite broker visits, acting as a vital liaison between the broker network and Admiral's internal teams supporting the business' ambitions and targets.


Key Responsibilities


Relationship management & business development


Develop strong, lasting partnerships with brokers and key stakeholders by engaging with them consistently, both face-to-face during onsite visits and through virtual channels such as video calls, emails, and phone conversations. Understanding brokers individual business needs, addressing their queries promptly, and proactively offering guidance to help them optimise their operations and meet shared objectives. Attend broker and industry events to promote Admiral's offerings and stay abreast of market developments. Monitor and enforce compliance with all Broker Oversight requirements, ensuring that all brokers operate in accordance with internal standards and regulatory obligations in include maintaining accurate records, performing regular audits, and updating oversight frameworks as necessary to reflect changes in regulations or business practices.

Sales strategy & execution


Collaborate with Admiral's operational, marketing and product teams to align on pipeline management, campaign execution, and new product launches. Ensure that feedback from brokers is channelled back to the relevant teams, supporting product and proposition development along with service enhancements that meet market needs. Gathering and monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform strategy and participate in trading meetings. Work closely with the Admiral's operational teams to assess their requirements and understand their insights, identify operational bottlenecks, technology needs, and process improvement opportunities from a brokers viewpoint. Leverage data and insights from Sales Ops to optimise sales processes, enhance reporting accuracy, and inform resource prioritisation to ensure Admiral continue to develop a high-performing broker distribution. Set clear goals, KPIs, and frameworks to drive accountability and performance within brokers and hold regular performance reviews and feedback sessions to reinforce accountability and recognise achievement, while addressing areas for development.

Required Experience & Skills


Strong knowledge of UK specialist lending landscape and regulation Experience of the second charge mortgages market desirable but not essential. Commercially astute with a data-driven, results-oriented mindset. This is a regionally based role so a willingness to travel within a designated region of the UK and to Cardiff HQ as required is essential.
