We're on the lookout for an energetic and ambitious Business Development Manager to join our expanding team in Allan Stobbart Fuels and Lubricants (ASFL). This is an exciting opportunity to take the wheel in driving business growth across Cumbria, Southwest Scotland and North Northumberland to support the launch of our brand-new depot.
If you've got a knack for building relationships, spotting opportunities, and making things happen, this could be the perfect role for you. We're seeking a Business Development Manager to take ownership of regional growth, lead a small commercial team and strengthen our customer base across multiple depots.
What You'll Be Doing:
Leading, motivating and developing a small commercial team
Driving business growth across Cumbria, Southwest Scotland & North Northumberland through new and existing customer relationships.
Develop sales strategies and pricing structures to deliver sustainable profit growth.
Visiting customer and attending regional events to promote our brand and services.
Working closely with marketing to identify new commercial opportunities.
Support depot operations and maintaining pricing consistency and stock coordination.
Providing commercial and leadership cover across depots including Hexham during holidays and peak period.
? ? What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a senior sale, business development or commercial management role, ideally in the fuel, energy or logistics sector
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop others
Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills
Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across Cumbria and Southwest Scotland.
