We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with specialist knowledge of the New Build and Shared Ownership sectors to drive new business acquisition across the South East. This role is strategically focused on securing new developer, housing association, mortgage broker and referrer relationships to strengthen our regional footprint and accelerate top-line growth.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead new business acquisition in the New Build & Shared Ownership sectors across the South East region. Identify, qualify and convert new opportunities with developers, housing associations, mortgage brokers and referrers. Develop and manage a structured regional pipeline aligned with commercial growth priorities. Deliver polished pitch presentations and negotiate commercial terms with senior stakeholders. Conduct structured market mapping and competitor analysis to prioritise high-value opportunities. Proficiency in CRM Software, ensuring clarity of pipeline, follow-up cadence and accurate forecasting. Prepare monthly reporting on pipeline performance, conversion trends and emerging opportunities. Work collaboratively with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and operational integration of newly secured business. Represent the business at industry events, conferences and networking forums to build brand visibility. Take direction from the Business Development Director and support other duties as needed.

Requirements:



Proven track record in Business Development within New Build and/or Shared Ownership. Demonstrable success in converting new developer, housing association, mortgage broker or referrer relationships. Strong commercial acumen and deep understanding of residential property-sector sales cycles. Proficiency in Salesforce or HubSpot, including pipeline management and workflow execution. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, presentation and negotiation skills. Strong organisational discipline with the ability to manage a regionally dispersed pipeline. Self-motivated, target-driven and capable of operating with autonomy in a hybrid setting.

Desirable:



3-5+ years' specialist BD experience within New Build and/or Shared Ownership. Established network across South East developers, housing associations, mortgage brokers and referrers. Solid understanding of residential conveyancing workflows, referral pathways and client journey touchpoints. Familiarity with regional development pipelines, scheme launches and market trends. Experience partnering with Sales and Operations to embed new accounts effectively.

Salary & Benefits



Base Salary: 50,000 to 50,000 per annum (dependent on experience) On-Target Earnings (OTE): Up to 65000 per annum (dependent on performance) with uncapped commission scheme
