We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager to identify, develop and convert new business opportunities. This is a self-sufficient field role, suited to someone who is confident operating independently, managing their own pipeline, and consistently delivering against growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, target and convert new business opportunities within agreed sectors.
Develop and manage a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
Conduct discovery calls, meetings and on-site visits to understand client needs.
Negotiate terms, close deals, and oversee smooth handovers to the account management team.
Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline forecasting and reporting.
Represent the business at industry events, networking opportunities and client meetings.
Provide ongoing market insight, competitor awareness and recommendations for growth strategy.
Skills, Experience & Requirements
Proven track record of
consistent sales performance and revenue growth
within a B2B environment.
Evidence of winning new accounts and managing the full sales cycle independently.
Strong communication, negotiation and closing ability.
Commercially aware and able to adapt proposals to meet client needs.
Self-sufficient
, proactive, and disciplined in pipeline management.
Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
(travel required).
Ability to provide
at least two verifiable references
demonstrating sales leadership and growth success.
Confident using CRM systems and managing structured sales reporting.

Package & Benefits
55,000 - 65,000 basic salary based on experience
OTE up to 80,000+ (Including commission structure)
