The Business Development Manager will play a critical role in driving the growth and sustainability of EGD Group Limited. The postholder will be responsible for developing and implementing effective business strategies, securing new contracts, building long-term client relationships, and expanding the company's market presence. This role is vital to enhancing profitability, supporting operational excellence, and shaping the long-term direction of the business as it grows.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to expand market share and revenue streams.
Identify, pursue, and secure new corporate, private, and institutional catering contracts.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
Conduct market research to identify opportunities, industry trends, and competitor activity.
Collaborate with the directors, chefs, and operations teams to design bespoke service offerings that meet client needs.
Lead the development and promotion of innovative catering packages, including grazing tables, decor services, and menu innovations.
Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and community initiatives to raise brand awareness.
Manage client proposals, negotiate contracts, and oversee the handover of confirmed bookings to the operations team.
Monitor and evaluate sales performance, preparing regular progress reports for senior management.
Contribute to the company's social media, marketing campaigns, and local partnerships to strengthen brand positioning.
