Job Description


We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for owning and developing Exertis\' relationship and business with the Dell Technologies OEM server group. This will include formulating and executing the go-to-market strategy for this product-set, leading the commercial engagement with key current focus customers, identifying and winning net new accounts in partnership with the 60+ strong enterprise account manager team, and building a strong opportunity pipeline to contribute to the division\'s revenue and GP growth targets.

Your Day-to-Day as a Business Development Manager

  • Working in partnership with Exertis Enterprise\'s sales account managers, pre-sales team and the Dell OEM Server division, to take the commercial lead in generating and closing sales opportunities with key partners.
  • Primarily responsible for the go-to-market strategy and execution, for the Dell OEM Server business within Exertis Enterprise.
  • Working with existing focus accounts and delivering net new accounts that contribute to the overall growth of the Dell OEM business throughout the UK and Europe.
  • Build and execute business plans within vertical markets to deliver growth in-line with the overall enterprise business strategy.
  • Present and lead account meetings, with a willingness to travel within EU.
  • Build and maintain an accurate sales opportunity pipeline and sales forecast.
  • Contribute to the team\'s key objectives.
  • Deliver product and market training to internal and partner sales teams, aligned with overall business focus, to become a \'trusted advisor\'.
  • Utilise strong commercial awareness, with a \'value-add\' approach to maximise profitability in complex, multi-vendor solution proposals.
  • Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct.
Role Requirements
  • Experience selling enterprise server, storage or networking technologies.
  • Strong presentation skills and experience leading meetings.
  • Problem solver.
  • Knowledge of Cloud, HPC or AI markets.
  • Self-motivator able to define and achieve clear individual, team and company priorities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Proven successful experience in an external sales environment.
