Job Summary:
Lynas Foodservice is actively recruiting an exceptional Business Development Manager to complement their existing sales team within these areas.
Purpose of Job:
To drive profitable sales growth within the assigned area by developing new business opportunities, nurturing existing customer relationships, and delivering exceptional service that strengthens Lynas Foodservice's market position.
Role Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated salesperson with a passion for foodservice and the hospitality business sector.
Managing their own territory, they will be responsible for making appointments with clients to develop sales, build customer relationships and promote the company and Lynas Brand.
Business Development:
Identify and secure new customers within the foodservice sector to achieve growth targets. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to uncover opportunities.
Account Management:
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers through regular visits, menu planning support, and tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
Sales Performance:
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales, margin, and customer retention targets. Use systems effectively to manage pipeline and forecast accurately.
Customer Service Excellence:
Deliver a professional and consultative service that aligns with Lynas Foodservice's customer-first values. Resolve issues promptly and ensure satisfaction.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with internal departments (Category, Credit, Logistics, Marketing) to ensure customer requirements are met and business objectives achieved.

Qualifications
BSc Business Management / Sales Management or equivalent
Experience
5-8 years Proven track record in business development, ideally within food service, FMCG, or hospitality.
Strong commercial knowledge with the ability to analyse performance data and identify growth opportunities.
Full driving license and willingness to travel within assigned region
