We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Requirements
Develop and deliver a sector-focused business development strategy, identifying emerging trends and high-value opportunities across utilities
Build strong relationships with clients, regulators, and industry partners, acting as a trusted advisor and representing the business at key events
Lead pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and ensure commercially sound deal structures in collaboration with internal teams
Manage own pipeline performance and drive continuous improvement
Experience
Proven experience in business development or commercial leadership within the utilities sector
Strong understanding of infrastructure delivery models, regulatory frameworks, and sustainability drivers across gas, electricity, water, and heat
Demonstrated success in securing and delivering complex contracts or partnerships
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
