About the role

Reporting to the directly to Head of Sales the BDM will be responsible for East Midlands (M1 corridor) and areas and business development across the entire Eagle Foods product range into the independent retail sector.

As our Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role, working independently to develop a sales strategy, carrying out research, developing leads and approaching new customers to evaluate their business requirements and gain new stockiest.

This is ideal for someone with experience within World Foods or Ethnic Retail. If you can speak Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi, Turkish or Arabic it would be a great advantage.

Eagle Foods Ltd has been established for over 20 years and has strong relationships within food service, wholesale and retail sector. We are registered suppliers to Asda, Morrisons, Iceland & The Food Warehouse and many independent stockiest across the UK.

The Role Involves:

Ownership and delivery of agreed financial targets related to your sales territory. Retention of existing clients, working within the area to build new solid relationships. Development and execution of customer spend development plans. Proactive Lead Generation and identification of new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products, and services. Working closely with and providing feedback to other departments Timely and accurate forecasting of revenues by client & product. Understand customer needs to develop sales strategy Daily Reporting is required. Accountable for all sales activity.
Location: Homebased - Daily Travel to new and existing customers
