We are looking for a commercially aware, dynamic Business Development Manager to focus on the European marketplace to join our growing company, managing clients who trade internationally.



You will be required to travel to the satellite Commercial team office in Monmouth, South Wales, regularly, as well occasionally need to be in the HQ in Bognor Regis, West Sussex. As the role title suggests, the commercial focus for the role is the European region; therefore, travel throughout the UK and Europe is required and expected to be a regular activity.


Key Responsibilities





The successful candidate will need to own the whole sales process for the region, which includes contribution into the marketing initiatives, managing prospect data (via our CRM), pre-sales co-ordination and contract management. The role requires immersion into the Enterprise business space in Europe, seeking and cultivating our portfolio of ICP targets. The following activities will need to be owned in order to achieve the required standard for the role:


Holding an annual target (broken into 4 quarters) and maintaining a consistent sales commitment strategy.

Report activities in our CRM system, to keep up to weekly and monthly KPI's.

Attend, host and take on public speaking invitations in the tax technology community.

Support the commercial team with organic growth/sales opportunities.

Manage required client training programmes.

Work with the marketing team to schedule new concepts, products and solutions and introduce them to existing and new clients

3 Month Deliverable:




Map out Target ICP Oracle R12/Oracle Cloud ERP users


o Position e-Invoicing services portfolio



o Pipeline build


Introduce yourself to our Parter Community


o Provide partners with a value prop to help support growth.


General:


o Build Social Media Presence



o Build personal contact book.


6 Month Probationary Target:




C.500k qualified (SQL) pipeline recorded.

Clear understanding of Value Props and demonstrable knowledge of our business.

Outbound activities recorded as On-Target.

Secondary Responsibilities

Confidence and tenacity to look to seek answers and solutions to our clients' issues or requests.

Experience





You will be able to demonstrate knowledge and/or experience of the following:


Previous Client Management and Sales experience.

Financial and commercial client management.

Establishing and maintaining effective relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Microsoft Office: including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Previous experience of working with Global brands/clients
