credible, consultative Business Development Manager
who can open doors, build trust, and turn relationships into long-term partnerships.
Centrad is the UK's leading supplier of vehicle camera, safety and video telematics systems. Our technology is already trusted by thousands of fleets nationwide from local operators to some of the UK's largest organisations. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a BDM who can help us take the next step.
This role is about
quality conversations, not volume calls
. You'll be working with fleet operators, transport managers and decision-makers to understand their challenges, introduce Centrad's solutions, and guide them through a considered buying journey.
If you're commercially minded, people-focused, and comfortable selling a technical solution in a consultative way, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Focus On (Your Core Priorities)
1. Opening Doors & Building Relationships
Proactively identify and engage new fleet operators and partners
Build trusted relationships with decision-makers over time
Position Centrad as a long-term partner, not just a supplier
2. Consultative Sales
Understand customer operations, risk and compliance challenges
Present Centrad's CCTV, telematics and safety solutions in a clear, practical way
Manage the sales process from first conversation through to close
3. Account Development
Work closely with existing customers to identify expansion opportunities
Maintain strong, professional relationships post-sale
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery
4. Pipeline & Activity Management
Maintain a structured, realistic sales pipeline within our CRM
Keep accurate notes, next steps and forecasts
Focus on consistent, high-quality activity rather than short-term wins
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in B2B sales or business development
A consultative, relationship-led approach to selling
Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers
Strong organisation and pipeline management skills
Comfortable selling technical or operational solutions (experience in fleet, transport, automotive or technology is a bonus, but not essential)
Self-motivated, professional and commercially astute
Full UK driving licence
