New Business Development Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven and experienced New Business Development Manager to join our team at CBVC Vehicle Management. This pivotal role is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities, whilst building lasting relationships with corporate customers to drive growth and profitability within the fleet and leasing sector.

The position reports to the Commercial Director and requires working in a hybrid format, which involves national travel as well as periodic visits to the office in Burton On Trent.

Key Responsibilities



Identify business opportunities for CBVC products with an emphasis on acquiring new fleet and EV salary sacrifice customers.

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new clients and expand market share.

A hunter mentality with a passion for prospecting, including outbound activity and developing new opportunities.

Track trends, find potential clients, and monitor competitors.

Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and tenders to secure new business contracts.

Negotiate commercial terms and agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Collaborate with internal teams (operations, marketing, finance) to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of services to new clients.

Achieve and exceed set targets for revenue growth and client acquisition.

Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and client interactions using CRM systems such as salesforce

Qualifications and Experience



Minimum of 5 years' experience in a vehicle leasing brokerage sales role ideally with Salary Sacrifice, fleet management, and other automotive.

Consistent record of high achievement.

Comprehensive commercial knowledge of all vehicle financing types, including but not limited to contract hire, finance lease, hire purchase, business contract hire, personal contract hire and operating lease.

Ideally, hold existing certificates or accreditation for BVRLA Compliance modules.

Proven track record in securing new business and driving revenue growth.

Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to network, influence, and build relationships at all levels.

Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.

Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Full, clean driving licence preferred.
