We're now looking for an experienced and driven
Business Development Manager
to join our team and play a key role in expanding our client base and driving new business growth across our divisions.
The Role
As a
Business Development Manager
, you'll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and securing new projects in line with our growth strategy.
You'll work closely with our management team to develop sales pipelines, manage key accounts, and help shape QSD's continued success.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and target new business opportunities across construction, housing, and commercial sectors
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, developers, and specifiers
Prepare and deliver proposals, tenders, and presentations
Collaborate with our operations and estimating teams to ensure smooth project handover
Meet agreed sales and profitability targets (KPIs)
Maintain accurate sales records and forecasts using CRM tools
Represent QSD professionally at networking events, meetings, and trade shows
About You
Proven experience in business development or sales within
construction
,
building services
, or
fire safety
sectors
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project-based sales
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
Full UK driving license (essential)
