Black Sheep Support are seeking an experienced and commercially driven
Business Development Manager
to join our growing team and play a key role in driving new revenue and long-term client partnerships.

This is a senior sales role where the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities, whilst working closely with internal technical teams to deliver tailored IT solutions. You will be expected to bring proven sales experience, strong commercial judgement, and solid knowledge of the IT services landscape.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development:
Identify, target, and win new clients through a mix of outbound activity, networking, referrals, and existing relationships using a proven script.
Full Sales Cycle Ownership:
Manage the entire sales process from initial prospecting and discovery through to proposal, negotiation, and close.
Consultative Selling:
Engage with senior stakeholders to understand their business objectives, challenges, and IT requirements, positioning Black Sheep Support as a trusted partner.
Account Growth:
Develop and nurture long-term client relationships, identifying opportunities to expand services and increase account value.
Market & Industry Insight:
Maintain strong awareness of the IT industry, competitor offerings, and emerging trends to inform sales strategy and conversations.
Internal Collaboration:
Work closely with technical, service delivery, and leadership teams to ensure solutions are commercially sound and operationally deliverable.
Pipeline Management & Reporting
: Maintain accurate CRM records, manage sales forecasts, and report on performance against targets.
This role requires precision, professionalism, and the ability to follow structured conversations.
Key Skills & Attributes
Significant experience in a business development or sales management role, ideally within IT or managed services.
Strong understanding of IT solutions and services, with the ability to confidently discuss technical concepts at a commercial level.
Proven track record of winning new business and closing high-value deals.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior decision makers.
The ability to follow a proven sales script.
Commercially astute with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
Highly organised, self-motivated, with a positive attitude and a growth mindset.
Resilient, results-driven, and motivated by achieving and exceeding targets.

Starting salary from 50,000, depending on experience
