As we continue to grow, we are seeking a driven and commercially minded

Business Development Manager

to own and grow our party and corporate bookings pipeline.

The Role

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating, converting, and managing party and corporate event bookings. This is a hands-on sales role requiring proactive outreach, relationship building, and on-site hosting support to ensure a seamless client journey from enquiry to event delivery.

This role is ideal for a confident salesperson who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality or leisure environment and enjoys closing deals, building partnerships, and hitting targets.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively sell party, group, and corporate bookings (birthdays, team socials, office parties, product launches, Christmas parties, etc.) Generate new leads through outbound sales, local business outreach, networking, and partnerships Manage inbound enquiries via phone, email, website, and social channels Conduct venue tours and client meetings to convert interest into confirmed bookings Build and manage a strong pipeline using CRM or booking systems Negotiate packages, pricing, and upsells (food, drinks, exclusive hire, add-ons) Develop relationships with local businesses, schools, clubs, and corporate contacts Work closely with the venue operations and events team to ensure flawless delivery Support on-site during key events when required to ensure client satisfaction Track sales performance, forecast revenue, and report against targets Contribute ideas to improve packages, promotions, and seasonal campaigns
