Overview

Wades are a construction company based in Lichfield offering construction and maintenance & repair services to various markets.

The company is now looking to further expand into new markets and require a dynamic and creative business development professional to assist with the progression.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction marketing principles and be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously. This role requires excellent organisational skills, a flair for copywriting, cold calling and marketing, tender completion and a solid grasp of strategies to enhance our brand visibility. Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote our services and profile. Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth. Manage marketing projects from conception through execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as necessary based on data-driven insights. Maintain an organised schedule of marketing activities and deadlines, demonstrating effective time management skills. Increase company turnover / sales and profitability. Attend marketing and networking events. Cold calling potential new clients. Implement, enhance and maintain marketing media, such as website, social media, newsletters, etc. Assist with tender writing.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a construction marketing / business development role with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects. Excellent project management abilities with a track record of managing multiple tasks effectively. Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Office Suite is advantageous for creating engaging content. Exceptional organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
Would suit experienced construction professional with marketing experience and network looking towards semi retirement, returning to work or someone looking for a little extra to fulfil part of their week.
