Job Description

Being a Business Development Manager at Privalgo

As a Business Development Manager at Privalgo, you will be raring to go and at the forefront of driving growth and expanding our market presence. Your role is critical in identifying new business opportunities, and you will always be thinking about strategies that enhance our competitive edge.

By leveraging your passion for sales and market analysis, you will contribute significantly to achieving our revenue targets and supporting the overall success of the company. Your dynamic approach and strategic thinking will be essential in navigating the challenges of a competitive market and positioning Privalgo as a leader in the industry.

You will be hungry and ambitious, with the drive to hit targets and objectives. You will have the confidence to pick up the phone, get past the gate keeper and handle objections like an absolute pro.

You will work as part of a squad where you will be coached and mentored by one of our highly skilled Relationship Managers. They will share industry knowledge and experience to develop your skills and enhance your performance. We are looking for someone who shares Privalgo's love of continuous learning and always wanting to be and do better.

You will also work closely with our Sales Director who will support all of your training and development that will truly set you up for success. Just remember, you will be in the driving seat of your career at Privalgo, and we want you to be proactive about getting what you need.

We are looking for a BDM with a scale-up mindset to come on this journey with us. You'll be a planner and a do-er, with the hunger to help deliver the ambitious growth we seek. You'll be a hard-working team player who knows how to have fun along the way.

We want someone who always presents solutions rather than problems, thinks why and how, rather than why not, someone who's not afraid to challenge or have a voice in the pursuit of what is right for Privalgo.

Lastly, we want you to get to know the three pillars of our culture: ambition, accountability, and impact - to live and breathe it, and to help shape and define it as we grow.

Objectives of the Role:

Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying and securing new business opportunities. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share. Market Analysis & Strategy: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the FX & payments industry. Develop and execute strategic plans based on market insights to position Privalgo as a leader in the payments sector. Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline through effective lead generation, qualification, and follow-up processes. Utilise CRM tools to track sales activities, manage client interactions, and generate detailed reports on sales performance. Continuous Learning & Improvement: Stay updated on the latest developments in the payments industry, including new technologies, regulations, and market trends. Proactively seek opportunities to innovate and improve sales processes, ensuring Privalgo remains competitive and agile. Best Practice: Uphold and promote best practices within the company, ensuring alignment with industry standards and fostering a positive, collaborative work environment. Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and company policies in all sales activities.
