Rebel Unicorn Group is seeking a dynamic and purpose-driven Business Development Manager to accelerate our mission of helping international students in the UK unlock their career potential. We provide tailored coaching, employability support, and strategic career development services that empower students to confidently transition from university into meaningful employment. This role plays a vital part in driving growth, expanding institutional partnerships, and amplifying the reach and impact of our services.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities with universities, employers, and student organisations aligned with Rebel Unicorn's mission. Build and maintain long-term partnerships, negotiating agreements that deliver mutual value and sustainable growth. Conduct market and competitor research to identify emerging trends and expansion opportunities. Collaborate with marketing and coaching teams to design impactful, scalable employability programmes. Manage sales pipelines, forecast performance, and achieve business development targets. Represent Rebel Unicorn at education fairs and networking events to promote services and generate leads.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Commercial Manager, or in a similar client acquisition and relationship management role. Strong record of achieving or exceeding business growth and sales targets. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders confidently. Demonstrated success in building and sustaining client partnerships and delivering tailored solutions. Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Understanding of marketing principles and how creative approaches drive business success. Proficiency with CRM systems and business development tools.
