Join us as a Business Development Manager and work within a team leading our proactive sales efforts to achieve sustainable growth and position Elior as a top contract caterer in the UK.

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented sales professional to join our team selling catering services to Business & Industry clients across the UK on behalf of our newly branded Elior at Work division.

In this role, you will be responsible for working with our telesales team to seek out new business relationships, which you will then develop into tangible opportunities for Elior at Work. You will lead a suitable process for each opportunity to win the business, agree a mutually beneficial contract with the client, and ensure a successful mobilisation and handover to Operations. Reporting into the Elior at Work Business Development Director, you will work closely and have support from our Operations, Marketing, Finance, Legal and Mobilisation teams.

This role is home-based (with IT and office equipment provided) with travel to both Elior and client sites potentially across the UK but predominantly in the South East. A full UK driving licence is essential for this position.



What you'll be doing...

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of new business opportunities and converting relationships into new contracts to achieve your sales target for the year.



As a Business Development Manager, you will:



Build and maintain client relationships, showcasing Elior UK's strengths Network and research tenders, collaborating with finance and operations teams for timely responses Lead the sales process from first meetings to closing deals Support contract mobilization, ensuring client satisfaction at every stage Assist in key contract retention, coordinating bids and presentations Manage your weekly activities to build a business pipeline and achieve sales targes Leverage commercial acumen to create and present successful tenders Confidently present Elior's key USPs to maximize client wins Submit weekly reports to track progress and ensure financial goals are met

Monday - Friday | Full-time



What can you bring?

Strong understanding of contract catering including the latest innovations and trends Strong pricing ability and commercial acumen Previous sales training an advantage e.g. Miller Heiman, Ray Leone Sales Funnel Understanding of character profiling e.g. DISC Ability to collaborate internally to produce write winning bids Excellent rapport-building, communication, interpersonal, and listening skills Creative thinking and strong writing for compelling solutions Experience managing multiple tenders and meeting deadlines Proven success in securing contracts in foodservice Strong presentation skills Proven relationship-building expertise Solid IT skills and experience in the tendering process
