About the role.
We're looking for a proactive and ambitious Business Development Manager to help drive growth across our PR & Marketing Services division.
You'll play a key role in identifying, nurturing, and converting new business opportunities across our brands - Mediapoint, Hydrogen, Sticky, and PA Media Assignments. Working as part of a central commercial team, you'll help connect our portfolio under a unified, ambitious growth strategy, opening doors to new clients and unlocking opportunities for integrated solutions.
This is a hands-on role where you'll combine creative thinking with commercial focus, from prospecting and relationship building to pitching and closing deals.

What you'll be doing.
Generating new opportunities
Identify and research potential clients aligned to target markets and growth sectors.
Develop a structured outreach pipeline using LinkedIn, email, and networking channels.
Take ownership of the lead generation process from initial contact through to conversion.
Build data-driven systems to track and refine lead generation efforts for efficiency and impact.
Building relationships and closing deals
Develop and execute outbound campaigns and attend industry events to connect with new prospects.
Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and key stakeholders.
Work collaboratively across brands to design compelling, multi-channel proposals that meet client needs.
Lead and support the pitch process, from first conversation to final close.
Managing pipeline and performance
Own and manage your sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities are tracked and progressed through each stage.
Maintain a clear and accurate CRM system to monitor engagement and conversion rates.
Work with the Head of Growth to forecast new business and set KPIs.
Analyse performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.

You have proven experience in business development, sales, or lead generation in a marketing, media, or agency environment.
You're a confident self-starter who thrives on building relationships and generating opportunities.
You understand the world of social media, content marketing, and the wider communications landscape.
You're commercially minded, with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
You have experience working across multiple teams or brands to create joined-up commercial strategies.
You are data-driven, comfortable using CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce to manage and report on performance.
