RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and Implement Strategies: Identify new leads and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base.
Sales Process Management: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve personal and company goals and objectives.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
Lead Generation: Conduct sales initiatives to identify trends and opportunities for growth. Create targeted email campaigns or direct mail for prospects based on their relocation needs. Conduct personalised cold calls to introduce our company and services.
Sales Events: Develop and present persuasive proposals and engaging presentations to attract and secure prospective clients during meetings or industry events.
Networking Building and maintaining a strong professional network by attending networking events, industry meetings, etc. Uncover new business opportunities and foster relationships with clients and industry peers.
Collaboration: Working closely with sales, marketing, and other teams to align goals and collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Account Implementation: Support the implementation team during for client onboarding.
System Management: Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
Clear evidence of structured development activity.
Documented records kept for each prospect.
Demonstrate innovative approach to providing client solutions.
Evidence of selling all services.
Structured handover of won accounts at implementation stage.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE (Essential):
5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in a relocation or removals industry.
Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles and techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail. Being meticulous in following up enquiries promptly and being forensic with writing proposals and bids.
Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable to changing market conditions.
Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills; proficiency in tools like MS Office, CRM software and LinkedIn Sales Navigator ( preferably )
Proficient in developing proposals and quotes, with extensive experience in managing the Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE (Desirable):
Full understanding of the Sales Process.
Proactive, assertive and able take ownership of the target and plan for achievement.
Commercially aware and able to negotiate prices with customers, a proven track record of success negotiating and closing sales.
Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills.
Understanding and knowledge of the market/industry.
