ADDEV Parafix is looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to lead commercial growth across our Mobility & Industry sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive sales professional with strong technical curiosity and a passion for developing markets, building customer relationships, and leading a team to deliver outstanding results.

About the Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will identify and secure new business opportunities, manage and grow existing customer accounts, and prospect for new applications across the UK (and occasionally Western Europe).
You'll combine commercial acumen with technical understanding to promote our broad product offering while managing the full sales cycle--from opportunity development through to order follow-up and supporting cash collection when required.

You will also play a key leadership role, managing Account Managers within the Mobility & Industry team and ensuring strong performance across sales KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

Visit customers and prospects across the UK and promote ADDEV Parafix's full product range. Conduct commercial negotiations and create tailored offers. Manage opportunities through the CRM and follow up on orders with Customer Service support. Work closely with Operations, Production, and NPI teams to align customer needs with internal capabilities. Produce visit reports and provide qualitative supplier feedback when required. Define and execute annual sales action plans with the General Manager Mobility & Industry Europe.
Team Management

Lead and mentor Account Managers in the Mobility & Industry sales team. Monitor key sales metrics (revenues, margins, pipeline, win rate, visit activity). Conduct annual performance appraisals. Support Account Managers in high-value customer engagements.
Marketing & Market Insight

Develop a commercial network with new potential clients and agents. Understand customer and market trends, including competitor intelligence. Identify new product applications and cross-sell opportunities across the ADDEV Group. Participate in marketing activities, trade fairs, and sales document creation.
Internal & External Collaboration

Build strong relationships with key suppliers. Participate in internal and group-level business meetings. Provide input to Product Marketing. Support additional training and complementary tasks as required.
Candidate Profile

Strong business sense with an entrepreneurial mindset. Appetite for technical products and applications. Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills. High level of autonomy, curiosity, and self-organisation. Analytical, rigorous, and data-driven. Resilient, tenacious, and able to manage multiple priorities. IT-literate with experience using CRM systems. Management experience is highly desirable.
What We Offer

Competitive salary of 50,000-60,000, depending on experience. 20% on-target bonus. Car allowance to support regular UK travel. Opportunities to influence commercial strategy and grow within an ambitious, supportive organisation.
Ready to take your next step?
If you're motivated by growth, thrive in customer-driven environments, and enjoy combining technical understanding with commercial leadership, we'd love to hear from you.
