We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager?to grow our IASME Cyber Assurance (ICA) certification scheme, The position reports directly to IASME's Head of Business Development.
This role will require regular travel across the UK and some overnight stays for events and long-distance meetings.
A BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check will be required for this role.
Responsibilities:
Working closely with and supporting the work of the Head of IASME Cyber Assurance (ICA).
Answering questions about the ICA scheme and other IASME schemes from clients, certification bodies and stakeholders by Teams, phone and email.
To grow the number of Certification Bodies that offer, mark and audit the ICA scheme.
Working with the Marketing Team to promote the IASME Cyber Assurance Scheme to encourage adoption within the sector.
Engaging with relevant industry bodies and identify new market opportunities for the scheme.
Liaising with relevant Government representatives and Departments.
Identify cross promotion opportunities across the range of IASME certification schemes.
Seeking out speaking opportunities and attending relevant industry exhibitions and conferences, some as an exhibitor and others as visitor.
Growing the numbers of ICA certifications in line with business expectations.
To support the work of IASME's IoT Scheme Manager and the Maritime Cyber Baseline Scheme Manager.

Ideal experience required:

Experience of relevant UK, European and Global standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001.
A strong grasp of risk assessment, vulnerability management, and security controls.
