client is a market leading professional services and media business. Due to continued success they are now looking to add a Business Development Manager to the team.

Your roles and responsibilities as a BDM will include:

  • Ensuring monthly invoice and delivered revenue targets are met
  • Meeting key performance indicators which includes video/call targets and other KPI\'s as agreed by regional sales manager
  • Promotion and sales of the full range of events and services
  • Creating your own pipeline of opportunities, utilising the data provided by the company but also creating leads from your own efforts
  • Working closely with internal teams to create commercial opportunities
  • Completing all necessary paperwork on time
  • Abiding by company policies and procedures
  • Punctual use of the company customer relationship management software system

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will have:
  • Proven success in a B2B sales position
  • Be a talented and motivated sales professional with the desire to become part of a fast-growing business
  • You will have a good understanding of business planning, sales pipeline management, safeguarding and closing deals
  • You will be a committed and passionate sales executive, with excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • You will have fantastic problem-solving and data analytical skills, with competent computer and technology literacy
  • You will have the desire to grow a small team and manage them accordingly
  • Experience in media, advertising, financial services, publishing or selling any other service proposition would be an advantage
