Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join the team at our new Middlesbrough office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development, and must have experience within the fuel card or fleet management industry. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth and success of Fleetmaxx Solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
? Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the fuel card and fleet management sectors
? Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
? Understand client needs and offer tailored solutions from our comprehensive product portfolio
? Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
? Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
? Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and client needs
Requirements:
? Proven experience in Business Development or Sales, ideally within fuel cards, fleet, or oil
? Strong understanding of fuel card products and customer needs
? Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
? Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented
? Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term business relationships
? Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
