Sensa waste is a waste management company based in Sheffield and covering all of South/West Yorkshire and East Midlands
Due to continued growth we are now looking for a tenacious, passionate and positive Business Development Managers to join our dedicated team of sales staff covering Nottingham. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new accounts via cold call door knocks and other lead generation methods and effectively nurturing them using our recently implemented bespoke CRM system. The role is field based, but will require some time to be spent in our offices for sales meetings.
Working hours are typically Monday to Friday 09.00 until 17.00 but flexibility is part and parcel of the job role for the right candidate.
Duties include:
Proactively and reactively identify new business leads via cold calling.
Achieve and exceed monthly targets managing your own personal sales pipeline.
Act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant internal departments.
Use and update internal CRM systems, and other appropriate records.
Support the Sales manager and other colleagues with other sales related activities.
Requirements of the role:
Previous sales experience within the Waste Management sector is a major advantage , along with a proven track record of selling contracted services and achieving / over achieving sales targets.
Must be able to handle rejection and not be afraid to work rain or shine.
Must be social media Savvy, reaching prospects online is your best friend.
Good rapport building and sales skills. Must also be articulate, confident, and politely persistent.
Must be able to work well as part of a team.
Ambitious and self-motivated, demonstrating a strong "can do" attitude. Must be determined to succeed and be prepared to go the extra mile to win a customers commitment and building lasting .
As well as your basic wage we also offer an industry leading commission structure.
