Bespa are specialists in commercial interiors and fit?outs for organisations across the South West. We do feasibility and space planning, furniture supply & installation through to full design & build, refurbishment and ongoing client support.
As we grow, we want someone who can help us expand our reach across Devon & Cornwall and the wider South West, someone who loves connecting with businesses, spotting opportunities, and is commercially minded.
What You'll Do
As our Business Development Manager, you'll be instrumental in growing Bespa's footprint in our region. You'll blend sales, relationship building, and interior industry knowledge to bring in new opportunities and target revenue.

Prospecting & Lead Generation
Find new business across the southwest -- whether it's businesses relocating, refurbishing, expanding, or needing furniture upgrades.
Client Relationship Building
Build trust with office managers, facilities teams, commercial agents, designers, property developers, local authorities, and contractors.
Site Visits & Needs Assessment
Travel locally to meet prospects, survey their spaces, understand their working culture, challenges and vision.
Proposal & Pitching
Work with Bespa's design & project teams to assemble compelling proposals from concept sketch to furniture spec, costings and timelines.
Sales Lifecycle Management
Drive leads forward, negotiate contracts, close business.
Collaboration
Liaise with internal teams; design, project management, procurement to ensure effective service delivery.
Attend Local Events
Be active in the South West business scene, local networking groups, trade shows, regional industry events, property & construction forums.
Market Sweep & Insights
Keep tabs on trends (furniture, interiors, sustainable materials, workplace strategy) and competitor activity in our region.
CRM & Reporting
Keep accurate records in CRM (leads, pipeline, client interactions) and report on progress against targets.
Who We're Looking For
Proven B2B sales or business development experience ideally in interior design, commercial furniture, commercial fit-out or a related field.
Good understanding (or interest) in commercial interior design, ergonomics, materials, furniture solutions, and workplace strategy.
Based in Devon or Cornwall (or willing to relocate) with a full UK driving licence you'll be on the road a fair bit.
Confident communicator able to talk with business owners, design professionals, and technical teams.
Self-starter, well organised, able to manage your territory, priorities and pipeline.
Collaborative mindset, you'll work closely with Bespa's design & project teams.
