We work with a national network of letting agents to provide a range of services to help our clients with the move-in process. We help over 15,000 tenants move each month by completing the necessary checks on potential tenants before they move into a landlord's property, as well as offering a range of additional property insurance products and services to support the letting agent, tenant and the landlord.
What will you be doing?
We are growing our Business Development Team and are looking for an office Business Development Manager to help with the acquisition of new letting agents to The Lettings Hub. The role will be based at our Peterborough office with our sales team.
The role will involve:
Run your sales area to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Presenting, selling and giving system demos to prospects via Microsoft Teams.
Proactive prospecting to ensure high pitch rate, efficient sales progression and diary management.
Create your own extensive sales pipeline and acquisition targets, and actively work towards reaching them
Build brand awareness and a strong network amongst letting agents and influencers
Support our Onboarding team to ensure new clients are informed and trained in our platform and products - and are actively transacting and stay with us
Raise new ideas and changes to your Director to ensure that we keep moving forward as a business, get ahead of market trends and keep exceeding the expectations of our customers
Keep up to date with all changes in products and processes to ensure correct and compliant information is given to prospects to endorse our position as the trusted industry experts
Attend conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and stay up to date with market trends, including competitor products and services
Skills/Characteristics
Previous New Business/Telesales/Sales Experience (minimum two years' experience)
Demonstrable track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets
Property industry and technology sales knowledge (desired, but not essential)
PC literate (E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications)
Experience using lead gen and nurture systems, especially Salesforce an advantage
Representation and promotion of the company in a professional, efficient and courteous manner
Good organisational skills and an ability to prioritise
Ability to work on own initiative
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
