Elliott FM Solutions Ltd is a Wirral based facilities management company that covers the Wirral, Liverpool and Chester. We provide all aspects of building maintenance with the aim to make the process as personable, convenient and stress-free as possible for our clients.

Job Overview



As our Business Development Manager, you'll play a key role in driving growth for the company. Your role will focus on generating and chasing new leads, pushing for new sales opportunities, and maintaining strong, personable client relationships. You'll help clients get the maintenance support they need quickly and easily, while helping us grow our presence across the region.

Role responsibilities



Lead generation - actively seek out new business opportunities across our target regions and industries. Consultations - carry out both virtual and on-site consultations with potential and existing clients to understand their needs. Negotiating and closing deals - handle discussions confidently to finalise contracts that work for both the client and the company. Client relationship management - build long-term, personable relationships with clients, ensuring they always feel supported and valued. Market awareness - keep up to date with local opportunities, competitor activity and industry trends to help shape business strategy. Arranging and briefing contractors - coordinate with contractors for routine and occasional works, providing them with the right information so jobs run smoothly.

Skills required



A minimum of 3 years' sales experience in a similar industry (facilities management, property services, construction, or related fields). Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets. Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills - able to engage with everyone from site managers to directors. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities at once. Full UK driving licence (maximum of 6 points).
