The Opportunity



We're seeking a passionate, driven, and commercially astute Business Development Manager to strengthen and expand our Trade Sales business. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who thrives on building meaningful relationships, closing deals, and contributing directly to business growth.

You'll play a vital role in managing a portfolio of existing clients and dealers while actively seeking and converting new trade opportunities.

Key Responsibilities



Client Development & Sales Growth:


Identify, engage, and grow business with both new and existing trade customers. Leverage our bespoke CRM system to manage pipelines and relationship activities.

Lead Qualification:


Review and assess incoming trade enquiries, ensuring high-quality leads are pursued effectively.

Customer Relationship Management:


Build strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers by understanding their needs, providing tailored solutions, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Strategic Marketing Support:


Collaborate with internal trade sales and marketing team to align campaigns with regional goals and optimise outreach efforts.

Route-to-Market Planning:


Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new channels and accounts within your territory.

Reporting & Performance Tracking:


Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline progress, quotations, and account performance. Provide regular feedback on market trends and competitor activity.

What Success Looks Like



Consistent revenue growth and customer acquisition in your territory. Strong CRM engagement and follow-through on opportunities. High customer retention through value-added relationship management. A proactive, energetic presence that inspires trust and closes business.

What You'll Bring



Proven success in trade sales or business development within relevant sectors (windows, glazing, construction, or home improvement would be desirable but not essential). A self-motivated, entrepreneurial approach with a desire to win. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in CRM systems and a data-driven mindset.

Salary is flexible and a very competitive performance quarterly bonus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to 45,000.00 per year
