VIAVI is actively recruiting for an experienced and energetic Business Development Manager to work specifically with our growing network of Global System Integrators and with Key prospects directly.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Key Responsibility Areas:Identify and develop new sales opportunities by researching potential accounts, initiating contact, building strong client relationships, and providing clear technical information and solutions tailored to customer needs. Contribute to department and organizational goals by taking ownership of new and diverse initiatives, and actively seeking opportunities to add value beyond standard responsibilities Develop and support the sales teams of Global System Integrators, enabling and motivating them to pursue AIOps opportunities using the VIAVI portfolio Constantly scan the market and create new contacts with staff of the target industry from Director level upwards via LinkedIn or direct contact Support the growth of the organic contact database by contributing to the generation, enrichment, and validation of high-quality contact data Represent VIAVI at regional EXPO and industry events, actively engaging in customer outreach, exploring speaker opportunities, and promoting the VIAVI brand and solutions

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree from a European or UK based entity, with several years in the telecommunications industry Proven experience in lead generation, preferably within a B2B or technical sales environment Strong desire to learn and master technical products Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications with enthusiasm for adopting AI tools to enhance work efficiency and quality Effective communication skills with technical professionals Self-driven with a top-performer mindset and high attention to detail Proactive and determined with a strong new business development attitude Committed to a solid framework of ethical and moral standards, ensuring full business compliance Excellent verbal and written communication skills in at least one local language and English. Verbal proficiency in Hindi is a big plus. Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time
