Business Development Manager
to help us grow our commercial client base and secure new accounts.
The Role
This is a
hands-on, part-time BDM role
focused on generating
new business opportunities
for our courier division. You'll be responsible for identifying and contacting potential clients, building relationships, and helping develop repeat and contracted work.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify potential new business customers (B2B).
Build and manage your own call list using online directories, LinkedIn, and industry research.
Make outbound calls and send emails to promote our courier services.
Arrange meetings, issue quotes, and follow up to close deals.
Maintain accurate client and pipeline information (CRM or spreadsheet).
Work closely with the Director to shape sales strategy and growth targets.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in
B2B sales or business development
(courier, transport, or logistics background is a bonus).
Confident communicator with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently.
Comfortable researching and building your own prospect lists.
Basic IT/CRM knowledge (Excel, LinkedIn, etc.).
A results-driven mindset and hunger to earn through commission.
