The role.




We're looking for a driven and results-focused Business Development Manager to help us accelerate growth and expand our commercial footprint across new markets.


You'll play a pivotal role in shaping our outbound strategy, building relationships with decision-makers, and turning opportunities into long-term partnerships. This role can be delivered from Howden (East Yorkshire), Paddington (London) or Media City (Manchester) office on a hybrid basis.

What you'll do.



Identify and convert opportunities:

Use your commercial insight and lead-generation skills, from Salesforce to strategic outreach, to uncover, qualify, and close high-value deals.

Build strong relationships:

Engage confidently with prospects and partners, understanding their challenges and helping them see the value of Podium's data solutions.

Own the full sales cycle:

Drive the journey from first contact to final contract, ensuring a structured and insightful sales process.

Collaborate for success:

Work closely with our Account Management team and leadership to share market insights and align on commercial priorities.

Champion growth:

Support the Head of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships in shaping strategies that build long-term success and sustainable revenue growth.

Represent Podium externally:

Be a visible and credible ambassador at key industry events, strengthening our reputation and network.

We'd love to hear from you if you have...



Proven new business or sales development experience, with a track record of exceeding targets. A proactive, self-starter mindset and the confidence to build a pipeline from scratch. Strong communication and influencing skills that turn conversations into opportunities. A passion for sport and innovation, and ideally some experience in racing, betting, or iGaming. Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems to manage relationships and performance. The drive to join an ambitious, high-performing team that's shaping the future of sports data.
