The Role:
We're looking for an experienced PMI sales professional for a full-time Business Development Manager role. You will be instrumental in spearheading our entry into the local authority sector, building relationships with key stakeholders, and providing expert advice on our health insurance plans. Your primary focus will be on creating strategic partnerships and securing new business within this new market.
Your Impact:
Proactively engage with potential clients within the local authority sector, understanding their needs and recommending suitable PMI plans.
Identify and secure new partnership opportunities with local authorities.
Manage leads and tasks efficiently within HubSpot.
Generate accurate sales documentation.
Build lasting relationships and deliver outstanding customer service.
Achieve and exceed sales targets.
What You'll Bring:
Experienced PMI Sales Professional:
Proven experience selling private medical insurance.
Local Authority Sector Expertise:
Demonstrable knowledge and experience working with or within the local authority sector is essential.
Partnership Creation:
Proven experience in creating and nurturing significant partnerships and generating your own leads, especially within a new market.
Excellent Communication:
Strong verbal and written skills.
Sales Acumen:
Passion for sales and achieving targets.
CRM Proficiency:
Experience with CRM systems, ideally HubSpot.
Self-Motivation:
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Sector Interest:
Genuine interest in supporting professionals in the local authority sectors.
Location:
Must be able to work in Manchester.
